Virgin organic black cumin oil in raw food quality
Black cumin has a very aromatic-intense flavor, which is particularly suitable for oriental cuisine - but also brings out the best in many other dishes. Pressed to black cumin oil on the one hand very easy to dose and on the other hand rich in valuable nutrients. The raw food oil of Ölmühle Solling stands out above all for its high quality: The black cumin seeds come from Egyptian organic farming. After cold pressing, the oil is neither deodorized nor refined. In this way, it takes on a very gentle and balanced aroma that - unlike oils of a poorer quality - does not "scratch" in the aftermath. What you should know about black cumin oil
Black cumin has been used in oriental countries for over 2000 years - for optimal seasoning, but also for health reasons. After all, black cumin oil is particularly rich in the doubly unsaturated linoleic acid and also contains a variety of valuable essential oils as well as bitter and tannic substances. Due to the high-quality fatty acid spectrum, black cumin oil should rather be used pure or as a seasoning oil and not heated above 90 degrees. Ideally suited also for external applications - for example as a rich bath additive, hair treatment, or skincare product.
To best preserve the valuable ingredients, it is recommended to store the oil in a dark and cool place - for example, in the kitchen cabinet or a drawer. Once opened, consume quickly. To extend the shelf life, you can freeze the black cumin oil if necessary.

Das Öl schmeckt gut und die Flasche hat einen praktischen Aufsatz, mit dem sich das Öl gut dosieren lässt. Die 0,5 Literflasche ist vergleichsweise günstig.
Hervorragend für Salate geeignet, um ihn eine besondere geschmackliche Note zu verleihen.
Allerdings sollte man den Geschmack von Schwarzkümmel lieben, aber wer die indische und orientalische Küche liebt, kennt den Genuß.

Kürbisragout mit Linsen

Zutaten
- 600 g Hokkaido-Kürbis
- Eine Knoblauchzehe
- Eine Zwiebel
- 4 EL Sesamöl
- 100 ml Gemüsebrühe
- 2 TL Kurkumapulver
- 100 g Crème Fraiche
- Eine Zitrone
- 250 g Linsen
- 3 EL Schwarzkümmelöl
- 1 TL Honig
- 2 TL Schwarzkümmelsamen
- Salz und Pfeffer
- Koriander
Zubereitung
- Hokkaido-Kürbis vierteln, entkernen, schälen und in kleine Würfel schneiden
- Knoblauch und Zwiebel fein hacken
- Sesamöl in einem großen Topf erhitzen und Knoblauch mit Zwiebeln darin andünsten. Den Kürbis dazugeben und für 3 Minuten mitdünsten
- Gemüsebrühe und Kurkumapulver in den Topf geben und für 5 Minuten mitkochen
- Crème Fraîche unterrühren und mit dem Saft einer Zitronenhälfte, Salz und Pfeffer abschmecken
- Linsen in einen Topf mit 1,5 Liter Wasser füllen und ohne die Zugabe von Salz aufkochen lassen
- Für zirka 15-20 Minuten köcheln lassen und im Anschluss durch ein Sieb geben und mit kaltem Wasser abspülen und abtropfen lassen: Ein Dressing aus Schwarzkümmelöl, dem Saft der zweiten Zitronenhälfte, Honig, Salz und Pfeffer anrühren
- Das Kürbisragout mit Linsen mischen und das Dressing unterheben
- Mit frischen Korianderblättern garnieren und nach Belieben mit einem halben Teelöffel Schwarzkümmelsamen je Portion bestreuen.
