The blueberry (Vaccinium myrtillus) is certainly one of the best known and most popular native berry species, so it is not surprising that Germany is one of the world's largest producers of cultivated blueberries. However, it is precisely the WILD form of the berry that can boast special inner values and is used exclusively in the production of this blueberry powder due to its ingredients and its significantly more intense flavor. By the way, for 1 kilo of this powder between 7.5 to 9 kilos of fresh berries are processed - but no preservatives, dyes, or added sugar!
The full power of the whole fruit
And that's not all: effective nature uses only the complete fruit of the wild blueberry and not, as with many other powders, only the ground press cake, which remains as a waste product during the processing of blueberries (e.g. into juices). And this has a clearly noticeable effect on the taste, consistency, and nutritional values of this high-quality powder.
